Implement a data management system to control all engineering functions, contracts administration, Subcontractor Data Requirements List (SDRL) control, document control and Engineering Change Proposals.

Solution

Implement SmarTeam to provide an Integrated Data Management System to control all engineering related data including CATIA parts and drawings. Areas involved in the solution included Implementation, workflow creation, data conversion, integration to MRP and support

Value

The solution provided enabled Smiths Aerospace to conform to all the Boeing contractual requirements to manage the engineering and test data throughout the design, development and production phases of the project

My Role

I provided a high level of expertise, industry knowledge and project leadership in engineering the solution. Based upon SmarTeam and its integration with CATIA, the solution addressed the immediate and on-going product development management needs of the Smiths Aerospace division in Yorba Linda, CA
